Here’s how we celebrated the 4th edition of the International Day of Education – January 24th
The International Day of Education is an annual International observance day dedicated to Education. The resolution proclaiming January 24th as International Day of Education was adopted by the #UNGA on December 3rd, 2018 in celebration of the role of Education in bringing Global Peace and Sustainable Development.
This year’s event was celebrated under the theme: “Changing Course, Transforming Education”. It was another opportunity for us to orientate the younger generation about the importance of Education.
The pupils participated in:
*Spelling Bee Competition
*Debate (Topic): Primary Education should be COMPLETELY FREE
*Listening Comprehension (Text and questions were limited to facts and information about the International Day of Education)
